Can you get a car on finance using your parents credit rating?

I'm 18 years of age and currently do not have a credit rating what so ever. I want to get a car on finance for reliability more than anything. Do you know of any companys that allow you to use a parents credit rating to back you up? ( i have a phone on contract which is under my fathers name for the credit rating)
