Suburban or Honda? Which would you choose?

im a 17 year old teen and im gonna be a senior in highschool. My dad gave me a 1992 prelude honda, it runs but has 226,000 miles on it. He said i can drive his suburban until i save up enough for a real car. the suburban has 120,000 miles on it and is really realiable. and i dont live with my dad so it would mean the suburban is basically mine. So my question is should i stick with the honda and just keep fixing it as I go? ( i only need it for senior year do you think it can last my senior year) i currently have 600 in the bank and i have a steady job where i make 230 every two weeks, So should i use the honda and keep putting money into it? or take the surburban and just save up? (keep in mind im a high school student)
